Salads Salads Salads

I went to my doctor earlier this week and he told me to lose some weight. So, I'm on salad duty 3 dinners a week.

I'll post tonight's effort after we make it. Sue usually likes to do a piece of protein with a lot of assorted greens. Up tonight is a little steak on a big salad. Yummm

Same thing with me.

My Dr. told me to walk a few miles a day. I asked him 'for how long' and he said try 30 days and to let him know how I made out.

So after a month I called him and he asked how I did and I told him that I lost a few pounds but I could use some help 'cause I'm 60 miles from home and don't know where I am.

Remember, it is LACK of cholesterol that causes BAD cholesterol. FDR had his first heart attack and his cholesterol was something like 140'ish, and the second heart attack his cholesterol was lower than that.

Animal fat = good, Olive Oil = good, Coconut Oil = very good, Corn oil = bad

Corn oil is bad because you can't squeeze corn and get the oil from it... they need to chemically process it to extract the oil from the cell walls. Eating this stuff can help harden arteries. Use olive oil and butter, it tastes better anyway! Your hormones are based off of a cholesterol molecule, and all cell walls in your body contain it. Your nervous system needs fat to function.

Cut sugar from your diet and eat pretty much what you want, as long as it's natural. Hey, should I send you 2 of those pies next shipment, or should I send more? :twisted: :lol: :twisted: You know you want them!!
