CEDAR - I'm with Mel on this one, if the HD2 is in your budget --> GET IT!
I have a Kono suji and petty in white#2 and love the white steel but the HD takes to another level.

Erilyn, can you clarify "too big for me"? Are you trying to fit the knife somewhere specific?

The handles on the Kono HH/HD 240 are a bit longer than some, but shouldn't really get in your way during use.
