Sakai Yusuke "ultra thins"...

Are you getting the "ultra thin" (1.6mm) gyutos? You list a 2.2mm thick 240mm...no photos yet...was hoping to pickup an "ultra thin" w/ ebony handle.

I requested some but I won't really know until I get them how thin they are. My distributor is not that great with english. If they sell I'll expand the offerings to other steels and different sizes and shapes.

Will check back occasionally...was hoping for the "ultra-thins" (270mm gyuto w/ ebony handle). Hope you do get them.

the thicker wa gyutos with flatter profiles are all the rave!
