Roundies Onna....

.....ribeye steak, mushroom sauce, potato salad & prairie strawberries.....

On an open fire - quick heat, well seared, rested while I sippa da rums & then gulped....with my Spyderco PM2 CF S90V.....F*ck the ceramic plate....will touch up tomorrow...

A perfect malliard reaction of the meat...Without it steak is worthless. Good job...You like Rum eh? Do you drink Appletons estate? The aged stuff is really good...the standard is real good.

It's 12 degrees f here, but that looks so good I thought about lighting the pit in the back yard.

Doing it on an open flamed wood fire induces additional flavors to the malliard reaction process - like smoky....really elevates the meat a cut above gas grilling or cast iron grilling.

Yep, rum is my staple diet - unfortunately Appletons is not available in SA.....

Have only heard of how well it goes via pallet to gullet.....
