V6 <> What Richmond steak knives are you talking about? I don't know of any ever made nor any slated to be...

I'm asking if they are going to make them, they have everything else in the line.........................

<Turbo> The Calphalon Katana 4 piece steak knife set is a good value. They look nice, have decent steel (fine for this purpose) and a set of 4 is about $60 at major retail outlets. If you're giving everyone a steak knife during a dinner, they will most likely be cutting on ceramic or stoneware plates - this will kill the edge pretty quickly anyway. I don't know why people in general (not singling you out) want really nice steak knives when they usually get used on dinner plates, instead of on cutting boards.
Just my .02 cents

because they will match everything else? I plan to add one knife a month from the Richmond Arti brand and matching steak knifes would be nice, they wont get use when its just me and the wife, they will get use when family and freinds are over
matching knives = happy wife = happy life = me buying more knives for MYSELF
see the issue here ? if i could get ZDP189 steak knives i would, then they wouldn't need sharpened after every 3-4 uses lol
personaly? I'd just rather dip the steak in sauces and eat it like a chicken finger, I don't give 3 craps if stuff matches or not......

Maybe get a few petty's instead and use those? Or get small cutting boards and slice the steaks on those with the good knives.

turbo v6 camaro --> Go to "user control panel", then to "board preferences" and change "my language" to "British English" and you will be able to edit.

<Turbo> I hear ya...LOL! IMO the best choice in the Artifex line would be the 150mm utility/petty. 2nd best might be the 80mm paring knife, but that could be too short for that purpose. Either way, with proper sharpening, you'll have the sharpest steak knives on your block - heck, probably in your entire zipcode!
