This is going to take a while to accomplish but I would like some feedback on buying Damascus steel from Devin. What patterns do you like? I'm going to do some artifex knives with the steel and offer them at a really nice price point with some custom handles on them from Tim. So, tell me what you like and I'll try and figure out an order with Devin. I'll do my best to deliver these next year but Hoss is a busy man so it will be dependant on how far out his backlog is before he can deliver it. Then the knives have to be made by Lamson. My point here is don't bug me about delivery of these until next spring. Here's a look at the patterns he offers.

I asked Takeda, who got to see 8 of them and he liked the Basket Weave the best. That was my favorite too.

I like them all!!! LOL. I got some FireStorm from him YEARS ago when I was still in college, really nice stuff!! His patterns are so refined and they all look good! Basketweave I think I like the best, but it's pretty close. I still like the Ladder pattern, too!

Ok, seeing an actual knife in bubblewrap is competely different than the bar on his website, which looked pretty much like raindrop. I really like the Bubble Wrap when it's ground!

Hey Devin,

If you read this, let us know what you think we should try. You know more about your steel than all of us put together.
