Ouch! Bad luck indeed at that price.

I nearly bought all those close out stones, but I was at work and by the time I could, they were gone. DANG. That HAP-40 Kohetsu was a serious temptation also.

Dan, haven't you satiated your ravenous huger for knives and accessories yet? You at what, 4 high end knives for the last 30 days now? ;)

I'm fine without them, but the price was right so if I could have gotten them, it would have been nice. Haha. I'm in deep at CKTG.

I think that is an understatement for many of us!

Allot of us have been disappointed with that dreaded email: "...but unfortunately someone else beat you to it."

There have been some good deals in the close-outs lately.

Sorry cedarhouse, I guess I get the pox from you since I did get that TF.
I promise to care for and nurture the baby if that is any consolation.

Wow - what a deal! It was labeled as a second but there are no issues with it.

No big deal. With the $$ saved I have picked up a Kono Wt#2, the Takamura close-out, and the Shapton Pro 320 close-out in the last week so I am a happy camper.

I will save my pox for later ;)
