Okay, so since I'm about to be away from the computer for a few days I figured it would be nice to show you guys some progress on the Wa handled knives. Here's some spy shots of one that's almost finished, it's still around 50 or 80 grit and needs a bit more work. The handle used is a bit longer than I want, but it's good to give you an idea of what it might look like. This knife feels pretty versatile with this handle setup, I'm excited to get a video out as soon as I get back. Thanks again everyone for the support, it means a lot.

Nice work Shaun, this looks deadly to my resolve . . . and my wallet. I can see one of these in my future.

I already have a Yo bird's beak handle version and dammit, now I want a Wa version as well - too cool :-).

I LOVE that traditionally styled Wa handle on the prototype. We need more Rosewood/Ebony (or similar looking) handles on the site IMO. They are classics for a reason.

Wow, thanks guys. Just got back in town, happy to see some interest in these already. I'm tracking down the steel and other stuff and grinding full steam ahead the second I can. Had a great trip, nice and energized and ready to get it.
