Michiel, Could you be more specific? As in the exact progression that you used. Also, edge looks polished no doubt but does she have any teeth? thats been my primary concern these days. I mean if you just go through the EP tapes to 6K (1 micron) it will give you a mirror finish but the edge is teethless?

....that's why you need a good dentist.....

Just kidding, refine the edge to 30k, but then strop with 1µ Boron Carbide from HA - the best dentist ever - fully refined edge with teeth to die for!!

Try it.

:)

Woops... i didn't post the progression like I did on other sites / blogs. Sorry about that.

Progression:

220 Glass stone
1k Pro
2k Pro
4k Glass
4µ CBN Gel
2µ CBN spray
0.5µ CBN
0.25µ Hand American diamond spray

It's highly polished, but has plenty of bite. you wouldn't want to shave with it :-) If you have the tapes, use 0.5µ CBN afterwards and you'll have teeth.

I have found that 1µ teeth lasts the longest and is the best slicer edge, as well as very, very decent push cuts.

I myself never believed in this until I actually tried it - now my quest is over - no more expensive diamond pastes etc - just good old HA 1µ Boron Carbide - thx Keith!!!

:)
