My first car was a rusted out 1989 mercury zephyr with a straight 6 engine. He bought it for a $1. To go up hills in California I'd have to slam the gas, maybe hit 75mph and then would proceed to, with pedal on the medal, decelerate to 45mph as 18 wheelers and cars sped by honking. All in all it was a good car. Repainted it and but a stereo system in and I was good to go. Not a chick magnet by any means but not bad for car 1.

'78 Ford Escort Rally Pack, bought from my brother who worked at Ford.

Had it for 10 years before moving to motorbikes. It is the ONLY car I have ever owned.
