I can't find the close out section on the new site, is it on there?

Kirky - it's under "resources" on the main menu bar, then on the left side vertical menu list.

I keep visiting the section, hoping to spot some fantastic video knife. So very happy with the one I found there...

I just shipped some back to Mark. They should arrive today - there are some video knives in there he should have up on the site soon.

I made a comment about this in another thread to Mark. I watch this constantly, and there have been very few updates to it and to the "new arrivals" page since his return from Japan (although certainly more to the latter than the former)—he's obviously been very busy! My guess is that, in the coming days, when it rains, it'll pour!

Thanks Steve. Anything you particularly fell in love with (realizing I am opening the door to lots of consumer competition)?

La Vie - (I just recently looked up that French phrase BTW ;-)), the Kanehiro Ginsan and Tetsuhiro Hammered W#1 150 Pettys were AWESOME :-). Both great knives - the tip on the Tetsuhiro just glided through onions like a ghost. I only wish the handle were slightly smaller, as on the Kanehiro. I also think the Tetsuhiro Hammered finish is one of the coolest on the CKTG site. The Nashiji finish on both Kanehiro Ginsan knives was VERY nicely done.

Two other favorites were the Kanehiro Ginsan 210 Gyuto and of course the Anryu Hammered 240 Gyuto, although it is a pretty large 240 blade. The Anryu is wicked looking in person (as you know ;-)).

Also, the Richmond AS Lasers are bad ass knives - not super flashy, but ground for true performance - very nice!

Thanks Steve. Great knives, and I appreciate the reviews. Just had fun watching everything...

Yes, I was clearly in a good mood when I came up with my forum name!
