All I know is that the sticker on those blades means that they are certifiably handmade and awesome. I bet one of those costs more than some of us make in a quarter year.

Hope you're wrong about the possible cost. :) Still, would love to know who is the maker and more about those knives. Looks familiar but I can't place them.

That knife, though I can't read Kanji/Katakana and can't tell you what it is, I can say this:
It's either going to be $200 or $5,000.
