One more update the handle came loose on me and was sliding up and down on the tang. So I banged the handle down and it kept going till it was in it's original position. So now the the machi is not exposed but the handle does seem stable.

But the handle moved back was just brilliant feeling. O well. :(

Also if you are a pro I would recommend the Kohetsu 240 over the 210. The 240 just feels right in your hand. If I had bought the 240 first I wouldn't have the 210 at all.

You can pop the handle back out and epoxy it in place with the machi exposed it's so comfortable that way.
