Thanks for the nice comments. Mark, yes the matching of the handle and saya grain patterns was intentional....I have a large piece of cocobolo and was able to cut it in a way that allowed me to do this. It can't be done for every handle/saya with out wasting a bunch of wood. This time I thought it worked out well.

The blades are not etched....I just lit them at an angle to show the Damascus pattern.
