 Post subject: I found a "new" old stone

Never used, still wrapped in the box. It was 18 dollars new but probably before 1996.

suehiro 6000-3 deluxe sharpening stone is the only english. The rest is in japanese.

is it a good stone? It is white.

Use it. You like it? It's a good stone.

It's horses for courses on stone choice. You may love it! Or not. The edge will still be 6k, so that's something.

The only one I think is real trash is my first ever stone from a little sushi shop here in Texas--I was going to give it to someone for free, but it was so bad I would feel embarrassed to use it as a doorstop.
