That bug is pretty silly and annoying, but the only way the buttons are visible for me are if I set British English.

Edit -- and now I can edit

I suspect it is a CSS problem somewhere, and changing the language changes the CSS delivered.

I don't know what the edit window length is, but I've never been a big fan of it -- Sometimes you just want to add to or clarify something you said earlier, without having to add another post later on and hope that the reader finds it.

Limit Editing Time setting under the General tab under Post Settings for language types no? It is a drag to not edit posts after a certain time. Also the british english only is a bit quirky.

Thanks Rook, my edit post button is also invisible, but your tip works, so now I can edit my post if I have to.
Guess we can call it the Houdini button
