I too would spend the 275 on many other knives you currently carry.

nice looking patterning in the damask.. but even with a better handle its gotta have a hell of a great grind to get my vote... whos the maker, might make us feel a little more comfortable in our opinions... we don't always "trust the unknown"

Like many others have said, I too don't like the handle design. The Damascus blade does looks nice though. But for $275 there is a lot of other choices on your site I would choose over this knife. My opinion is obviously based on looks alone, it could be a great performer with awesome thin grinds for all I know. But at this point I would pass.

Have you handled them? What's the grind like?

Perhaps a silly question, can you get them with a rat tail tang?

Looks like plywood handle on top of unattractive shape.
The profile seems to have a higher then normal tip on a gyuto & also large belly because of the tip height.
Wouldn't buy it for $150.
You have lots of better stuff regardless of whatever steel it's made from.

i like the look of the blade and like many others really don't like the handle at all. for the same price you can pick up something far superior in looks

+1 on the fugly goofy looking handle, too pricey for VG-10 so many better choices for less $.

Handle looks way too big for the blade. Proportions of a petty.
