195mm is nearly 8 inches, I would think that would be plenty long to refine knives of that size. I've used Koppas that are like 145mm and while not the easiest or most natural, it is definitely doable with good results. To me width matters more for the longer blades; narrow stones make it harder to stay completely flat on the stone. As long as you have 2 inches + in width I'd say go for that Yagi. I doubt my Yaginoshima Asagi is 195 and I have no problem at all using it, I consider it a pleasure to use after my use of smaller naturals.
