MILLER <> Trout, right?

AWESOME <> That makes two of us!

MIKE <> Everyone says that about that pic. I think I look like a jackass with that friggin smile that was so implanted on my face you'd think I ate acid. I have a lot of knives, and they mostly all get worked...

GINGER <> To be utterly honest, I'm pretty numb to it. Don't get me wrong... it is one of the few things in this life that brings me a peace that transcends the corporeal plane my body exists amid.. but I just am who I am. I'm not that excitable. I'm often called militaristic... stoic.. cold. It's just me... who I am. I view it as a job... I treat it like a job. Here at work, I process fish... that's just fish I catch. I had worked on boats in my youth so there's a fluency that remains of which is comforting. I have one mission on the water... to capture fish. For me, that requires focus, and when I focus... it typically evolves into a hyperfocus. I don't talk, I rarely eat, I drink between drifts to hydrate, I only sleep a few hours on the 8 hour steam out, I'm constantly checking knots & riggings, freshening baits, I fish every second w/o sleep for 2 to 3 days consecutive until when on our return we come up on lobster traps over the Tortugas Banks of which I can't drag baits around. It's a job, and if I work hard, if I push to absolute exhaustion, where the body simply shuts down... I know I had nothing more to give. With great effort... typically, one reaps great reward. It's what I know... how to work. I spent a few years of my youth with a psychopathic sailor of whom deployed me into life making me not the least abrasive individual you'll ever meet. To own that a bit, I've been quite abrasive ever since I took my ass on the road @14. Hated, tolerated, enjoyed, ignored, understood, misunderstood... I'll own it & more.. I made me.

Nice catch! I've always wanted to go sea fishing but there never seems to be the time when we get to FL.
