Thanks! Got the email and just made the payment. Looking forward to the board. By the way do you send out shipping info?

I got an email from Martin with the shipping info on it, so he probably will send it out to you, too!

Taz - Thanks much. How do you like the board after living with it for a week or so?

Love it! Feels great under the knife, easier to wash than the bigger square board and plenty of room for ingredients.

Got my board today (same one as Tim) and it is as nice if not nicer than I was hoping! Very nicely made, corners chamfered, well oiled, nice grain and color to the wood. I was also able to have the rubber feet added and am glad I did.

I haven't used it yet but am oiling it up. As Tim noted and experienced, the cherry is soaking it up more than the walnut but it's not taking as much as I thought it would. The paper it was wrapped in was almost completely soaked through with oil so my guess is that it was very well oiled at the shop.

Martin - Thanks for the excellent board!

I bought one of his boards a few months back. Cherry end grain. 18x24. SO NICE for the money. I haven't seen anything in the same ballpark for less than double the price.

I've received my Walnut Cherry 12x18 board about a week ago. My first impressions are that it's a very nice board. I oiled it every day for a week, as per the instructions - it soaked up a good amount of oil. I love the size for our home kitchen. I have have 16x17" edge grain Boos board, but it's hard to wash in our residential sink. The 12x18 fits nicely for washing and has enough surface area for most of my prep duties.
