From what I understand the Aeb-l version of these knives are the same blade except for the handle and the weight, I only assume this because the artifex tall says addict on the knife from what I read. So my question is is the addict grind better or is it thin out, or is the choil relived and spine too, or is it the same knife except for the handle, weight, and price?

That's a great question. Mark will need chime in on the other Addict knives, but the 240 SLD Addict: http://www.chefknivestogo.com/koadhd24wa.html is most definitely NOT the same blade as the Artifex. It's make by Konosuke and has really great grinds for such a thin knife. It was super nice! Too bad they're OOS. I hope Mark has them make more of these.
