Josh and I are goofing around at the office and we're trying to come up with a low cost sharpening jig that will use the shapton glass stones that we already have cut to 1"x6".

Anyone like to help with the fun part and come up with a good name for us? I'm open to anything.

We're very early on in the process and just made a working prototype with bolts and screws and it's really rough. We need to refine it more before we actually sell them. I'll try and get it good enough to sell at cost as a beta tester and let you guys try them. Maybe I'll do this as a forum sale item later in the year.

Fun Size Sharpening System, or FuSSy if your dealing with smaller blades.

It better be cheaper than the edge pro...Do you have a good local machinist? Made in the USA locally is always a good marketing slogan.

Seriously find an automotive speed shop in the area that does it's own in house machining. Never underestimate the power of good ol' boy redneck engineering. Yee hah! Them Duke Boy's know how to rig it.

I'd call it the Richmond Liberator "Free yourself from the shackles of shaky hands."

Yes we have a large machine shop that is going to do them for us.

I would love to hit $50 for the unit without stones.
