Group Photos first , then we will break everything down.

So what do we want to look at first? Compounds?

Poly , 1u , 2u and 4u
Image

AlOx , 1u , 0.3u , 0.05u
Image

Boron Carbide , 0.5u
Image

Then theres corresponding strops for the compounds nanocloth for poly , roo for the boron carbide , AlOx and some stuff coming in pt 3.
Image

Image

A large 3x11" roo strop , mounted on glass , This is for my straight , debating whether to leave it bare or use some 0.05 AlOx on it...
Image

Kens upgraded HD diamond films mounted on glass. These have a myriad of improvements over the intial run Mark got , heavier duty film , upgraded glue , texturized glass for better bonding. And they work quickly! These things destroy shaptons when dealing with "super steels"
Image

Moving on to stones heres some Nubatama stones , moving left to right , 24 , 60 , 150 , 2k speckled (brand new) , and the 2k grey.
Image

Close up of the 24 and the 60
Image

Heres an interesting stone , this is the HanHan , this is the only stone I know of that blends synthetic and natural abrasives.
Image

While we are on the topic of Jnats , heres a Mukaida w/ matching Tomonagura
Image

And an 8k Snow White Tomonagura and Tajima Tomonagura , to correspond with my current stones.
Image

I also tracked down a granite base for my EPP , best part , FREE!

I got a package from him yesterday too. I can see it's going to be an expensive relationship. :) There is a few things you just got that I'd like to try. Let us know how you like the two naturals you just got. I'm looking to get a few more. There's one he told me about that is a great one that butchers like. I think he said its a monzen aoto.? I have a few scribbled down on my wish list.

That is an awesome package you just got!

Nice.

The HD diamond films look particularly interesting. How about a fuller review and more head to head comparison with the shaptons info?

Mark - We had to split it into 3 seperate packages for logistical reasons.

MR - Nope lol! I clean industrial tanks and vessels in the oil and gas industry. I go into places not really designed for humans to occupy.

Redwattle - I like the monzen aoto , although often times i reach for the aono aoto.Lets see your package :ap

Doug - I will be doing more in deprh comparisons / reviews as i use things. Obviously theres a lot of different pemetations now.

Here is my package. Not nearly as large as yours. I'm still excited by it nonetheless.

I'm excited to give it a try. I'm using it first on some razors followed by the Nakayama. Then I'm going to use it as a final edge on a few of my knives. I'm ready to be impressed. :)
