I need to try carrots again. I used it when the edge was fresh from the box on carrots and I hated it. I used it the next night at work and it did everything fine. I am wondering if it had a wire edge from the factory or something making it get caught up or not be as sharp as it could be. It worked great after that initial use.
I sharpened it after I did the mustard patina so I will give carrots a go tomorrow. I have the day off.
