Hello all I am in the market for a midrange wa handle or handles to do a re-handle on a couple of my knives with cheap ones. Not looking for anything fancy, just 240 gyuto sized wood handles (octagonal is a plus) with either buffalo horn (preferably blonde), wood, or pakka wood ferule. Does anyone have any old ones lying around that they took off to put on a custom handle? Thanks in advance for any responses.

Check out the handles section in the forum. Several of these guys are making custom handles and knocking off the stock handles. I bet one of them will sell you a Wa handle cheap.

I have my goko one. It's magnolia with buffalo horn ferrule.

Not sure if you'd want it but I could part with it for sure.

I would recommend Matt Stephens since he fixed a Western handle for me that he had done a while back and put a new wa handle on my Tojiro Hand Hammered gyuto, ironwood with brass spacer and buffalo horn ferrule. It is beautiful snd he is very nice to work with also
