Thank you all for the great comments.

Rook - I'm ready for dimensions!

Pete - nice to hear from you again - you gotta stop by and make a handle with me

Atang - thanks for you honest opinion. yes it is not for everyone. one of the great things about c-tek though is its ability to be ground in any direction or shape and be able to show off that spectaular honeycomb pattern. It does feel unbelievable in the hand. I've been strokin' it all day! :D

wsfarrell - yeah sharpening it wouldn't be a problem. depending on how high of a grit I'd finish it with I'd probably lose the mirror polish on the face. but it can be polished up anytime.

It has an other-world appearance, as if it is a ceremonial, or ritualistic blade from somewhere far away.

It is almost spooky, and the longer you look at it, the more you see.

Magnificent!

I keep coming back and looking at this. I too love traditional styles. However, I think this is my favorite knife/handle combo I've seen yet. There is nothing about it I don't like. I don't think anything could improve this design. Really love this one.

The polish you get on knife blades is totally insane.

Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor.

It is that epic....

Impressive. I've made quite a few handles myself and I'm really impressive by this one.

Can't really say why but it associates with Transformers for me… you know, if decepticons were to use yanagis' they would use something similar :)

That's probably the most awesome yanagiba I've seen. Ever.
