Last night I stumbled across a page on the CKTG site that had a couple dozen photos of knives, some of which were handled with the new blue octagonal handle -- http://www.chefknivestogo.com/ocknha.html -- and now I can't find it for the life of me. Does anyone know the page I'm talking about? I wanted to show someone how nice the handle looked on an actual knife and there were several on that page. I think it was a page of a category of knives - like sujihikis 270 mm or something like that: a page of clickable thumbnails.

That was it! Thanks cheffiec. Seeing it on its own it looked kind of garish, but fitted to a knife it looks a lot better.

np my friend, I love the look of it as well, that mark Richmond is a sneaky one I tell you he added them the very next day after I ordered my goko, I would have far preferred that over the chestnut but oh well theres always the next one! lol

That saji is aweful purdy

(I meant the typo on aweful - beautiful blade and handle)

Hey, if you want a hands on dissection of the saji, someone on these forums has it - I think I saw it on the thread in general discussion section ... "Show us your knives" or something similar

I agree, that Saji w/ blue handle looks great. I really need to make more money to feed this habit...

I'll second that. I saw the handle alone and thought: what?? And then saw it on the Saji (and to a lesser extent, the Ikeda) and suddently it all made sense.

It looks nice when on a blade for sure, I think it's just hard to visualize how the color of that handle would look when it's sitting on it's own.

I have one on my Ikeda. The color is much more of a teal.
