Now for more detail on the Jnats.
This is a Hideriyama , it is a hard polisher.
This is a Nakayama Iromono , the current prize of my collection. A very hard polisher , perfect for straights. Becoming an increasingly rare stone. Ken was kind enough to save the powder from cutting the Tomo so I have that to play with as well.
This is a 2x6 Iyoto , a soft nagura stone. Nakado on its own.
Khozuke , Medium hard Nakado stone.
Tsushima stone. This stone is from an underwater mine located between Japan and North Korea , it was mined out in 1983. Hard Nagura stone.
Hakka Suita , a soft polishing stone.
Heres a better picture from Ken.
Here is a Jokeji "smokey" nagura , this stone smoked similar to meat smoking , in order to change its characteristics. It is only done during certain times of the year.
A better picture by ken , showing the beautiful grain structure.
