So I'm not married but is this something I should bring up on a date?

"Tell me something about yourself"

"I have several thousand dollars worth of knives and sharpening equipment and stay awake into the early morning keeping every edge as sharp as it can possibly be."

Gotta be the most attractive statement ever.

Well i got some extra money hidden away, i gotta start modding my G35 coupe sooooo.......she won't know about that either lol...The one thing is I used to street race(bad bad but a loooong time ago) and drag race at the track and I spent ALOT of money on my cars and she'd let me but conversations were like this " Terry how much did you spend on that part for your car now?". me " Uh uh it was only $500" wife " So what your saying is you really spent $1000 right? ". She always knew I spent at least twice as much as I told her. lol....She really doesnt know about most ofmy. knife purchases since I got some good deals from coworkers and fellow knife knuts...And my reasoning for spending over $300 on my Apex Edge Pro with Shapton GS was, "Hey I can make some money sharpening co workers knives"

My wife is pretty cool about my purchases. Of course, I just completely remodeled the kitchen down to studs and concrete, and rebuilt it. I think I am good for a while...or until I buy my 6th gyuto.
