I really didn't expect the handle to be as comfortable as it is.

The Artifex handles are surprisingly comfy in the hand despite not having radical contours that some people insist on! They just feel solid in the hand. With my hands, I find my hands get cramped/fall asleep (borderline carpal tunnel I think, got MUCH worse after doing mtn bike patrol at work with an ill fitting bike and then trying to wrap fishing rods with tiny threads!), so I usually go fatter with the material or convert to a Wa.

I'm a Wa guy, maybe that's why I like it.

Yes, they do have a kind of Wa feel with no bolster leading into the handle. They aren't purty, but they work well IMO.

I picked up my Artifex for the first time in a while last night and noticed how solid and comfortable the handle really was. Really would be a great knife if they could straighten out the OOTB grind on that knife!

Jeff you know you own too many knives when you pick up a knife "for the first time in a while"

Did you have to dust it off

Salty, I think a knife that flashy is sick.
