Finally got around to etching my Tanaka Blue#2 gyouto and Tojiro Itk 120 petty.

Here are the before and after pics.

I used a 10 to 1 Ratio of water to ferric chloride. And 3 One minute submersions.

the tanaka has a very similar look to the masakage shimo line, a frosted glass finish. Looks wicked
