Happy New Year everyone!

Answer this question for a shot at a free Moritaka Petty.

What was the lamest/best thing you've ever done for New Years Eve?

We'll pick a winner at random in a few days.

Lamest thing I have done was this year... I went to bed at 9pm with no alcohol even though I have New Year's Day off from work... LOL

Only 38 and already I'm getting old... :P

Does a 28-year run of being asleep before 2200 every NYE count?

Ate some great pork, diced a bunch of Butternut Squash, hung out with my GF, in bed by 10:30. Fine evening in my book

I spent New Years Eve working three years ago working hard on the line all night, only to receive a call saying my car had been broken into at my apartment building back home. Needless to say, I spent New Years Day filing insurance papers, getting window fixed, drying out the interior, and being miserable. It was certainly not a great start to the new year.

Being in the industry for so long, I've spent more strikes of midnight driving home. It's the best time to be on the road, as all the drunks are surely celebrating the new year. Occasionally I get to see an errant firework or two....

Stayed home with a friend and celebrated making it through 2013 injury-free. Sharpened the kitchen stable new year's day, and immediately sliced my left index fingernail clean off dicing ginger with my Tojiro DP. Resolution: get better at "the claw".

Best thing I've ever done is 300+ covers in a kitchen in DC. It was intense.

Had a party with 20 friends, in a small room which only fit about 10 under normal circumstances. Had a great time, with lots of domestic and foreign beers, cava, champagne, ouzo, prosecco and OLIEBOLLEN (Dutch new year treat):
