Just to be clear which knives i am considering here are the reviews i found

Laser

Kohetsu

Now about me
Right handed, want Japanese handle, interested in a gyuto, 240 for length, budget is around $250, sharpening skill is a work in progress.
I already own a a Misono UX 10 210mm and a Mac Mighty 9 1/2.

Pretty happy with the knives i own but want to upgrade and love the japanese handle. I work in the business so this will be something i use everyday. Not great at sharpening but i am trying to learn how. Any suggestions about other knives i should look at would be great and also any questions would help me figure out what is best for me.

Thanks

The laser is a better knife (better finish and handle) but the kohetsu is a better value and you'll get the same performance for less money.
