I am selectively upgrading from my chicago cutlery set.

As of now, I have a Miyabi Evolution 8" chef knife ($85.00 after coupon from SLT, so could not pass it up.). Wusthoff classic 7" Santouko, and bread knife. And the Sugimoto cleaver I bought from you.

I am searching for a utility/pairing/petty knife and am looking for suggestions.

Mostly for work where the chef knife is too large. Not sure about the Tojiro petty on your site. But looks like a bargain. Or should I stay with the Wusthoff classic?

I do enjoy a good value.

Mike

Hi Mike,

The Tojiro is a good one.

The Fujiwara is also a nice petty (I have one of these) as is the Mac Pro. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/fufkmpe12.html

Value is very much in the eye of the purchaser, but this is still a great knife value IMHO:

I've always liked these knives.

I agree with Adam, the Hiromoto is a great bang for the buck and a quality knife in it's own right.
