I made the tip a lilttle larger for people like me who use their tips alot.

I did this to one of my knives. Its a cheap knife and i have to constantly keep it maintained but right after i sharpen it the tip accurately cuts through anything

I did it to mine about two months or do ago and all I have to do is hit it with the handamerican borosilicate rod and good to go. I have not ground it totally flat it's actually tapered from the top down and so far I used mine as an experiment and working good, also did it on a fujiwara and a addict made with cpm 154 and so far do good. Mark seems to like it and I hope it holds up well for others if not I'll go back to my old ways which were still good no complaints yet but I feel sure I am just dodging a bullet. Peace jmbullman

I totally agree my friend if it wasn't for trial and error we never would have gone into space or another eay to look st it is you can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs first. Peace Bullman
