bacon, eggs, and potatoes a la Christine. bacon is some nice local pig that I had a friend cure and smoke up, eggs are from a farm down the street and loaded up with some nice sweet cream and butter (from the same farm), and the potatoes are just yukon golds, but brunoised and then fried in the rendered bacon fat and tossed with some sharp cheddar.

I learned two things making this- there is no such thing as too much bacon, and brunoise-ing before coffee is not a good idea.

What do you guys make for weekend breakfasts?

I like a good egg with some toast and some OJ. Maybe a little fruit or a piece of sausage or both.

Rookie, by the amount of food on your grill and over the flame I understand your decision on breakfast! I would wait for it too!

Double yoke steamed eggs, home hash browns, 2 bite, home made sourdough buttermilk pancake balls with Quebec maple syrup, apple juice, fresh cured and smoked bacon, home made sausage, followed by a fathers day nap!
