Up for sale is an Artifex gyuto, Western micarta handle and AEB-L stainless steel. I've had it for about a year. It is in great shape. It is sharper than new out of the box, and I've done a couple of thinning sessions, too, so it also cuts better than new. There are some surface scratches on the side of the blade from wiping it down that should polish out easily, if you'd care to. Great profile on this knife, and good feel in the hand, but I'm moving up the food chain.
Note that the dark bit on the photo of the left side of the Artifex is the shadow of the photographer!
I thought I'd include a Tojiro ITK 120mm petty with the Artifex as a package deal to save on shipping and provide a nice, useful pair of knives. The Tojiro has had the kurouchi finish removed since this photo was taken. I've oiled the handle a bunch on this knife, and sanded down some of the D-shape of the handle, so it is more oval, and I've rounded the end of the handle a bit, for comfort. Hitachi shirogami #2 steel, loves to get sharp. I've had this one about a year, too.
First $90 takes the pair, shipping included to the lower 48.
Thanks for looking!
