Couldn't wait for the koishi to be restocked, curses thee elusive Koi.
Can't wait until I'm able to net that fish.
A tough decision had to be made, while splitting hairs, between the koi's cousins, Yuki & Shimo.
As you all well know, the Yuki Bunka is working its magic on my line.
PayDay has arrived and it's time to add to the collection, so through much deliberation while sipping on some Sapporros and tossing the mental coin, the lucky winner was Shimo. What's 13 extra dollars when I prefer an octagon handle?
Plus I'm waiting to match the bunka with the 300mm sujiki.
I will report on the performance of the Shimo on the tremendous amount of beef, lamb, chicken and rabbit it will be executing on, during this holiday season.

I hope you like it and I think it's a good choice. I always encourage people pick different makers, finishes, handles etc. You learn way more about what you like by cherry picking stuff. Enjoy!

Robert - The Shimo Honesuki felt awesome in the hand. Very stout, like it just wanted to be put to work ITK! You're gonna love it :-).
