Hi Mark,

A quick final two questions!

1. Between Maruyoshi HD Honesuki Boning 150mm and Misono UX 10 Honesuki Boning 145mm, which would be your recommendation? Or in fact any other boning knife you'd recommend? If it helps - his newest purchases are a Togiharu Pro Petty Utility Knife and a Misono UX10 with dimples Sujihiki and his dream knifes are Hattori KD Series.

2. Would you be able to provide gift wrapping service as this would be sent directly?

Thank you,

Evelyn

Overall the Maruyoshi would be my preference. I've owned and used both and it's a better knife.

We don't offer gift wrapping but it comes in a nice gift box.

i'm with mark with this. it's a prettier knife, and heat treat is masterful (for a vg10), so the knife will perform superbly well (for a vg10)....

a cheaper knife, and hand made.

the misono's a stamped blade but that does not mean it's not a great knife. i just believe that it's a bit overpriced for a knife. it performs really well, i just like the maruyoshi more. for what it's worth, misono's UX10 is the BEST stamped blade out there. it's not forged like many other japanese knives that are sold on CKTG.
