Hi Mark,
I wanted to let you know that I love the Sharpton Glass 1K stone, and I'm really enjoying sharpening. And I also got a Togiro nakiri, which is a thrilling piece of work.
What is the function of the diamond finishing plates that are on closeout?
Thanks,
Paul

I'm glad you're enjoying the shapton glass stone. I use them all the time.

The diamond film plates are used primarily for the Edge Pro machine. We have some unsold merchandise so we're closing them out at below our cost:

Are they on aluminum or glass?

I just bought 6 on the assumption that they are float glass. These should fly off the shelf at this price. I think they would still sell well at double this price. But that original price was a harsh toke.
