You are very welcome! :) I know there have been times when I have avoided items because the shipping cost as much or more than the item itself. I have actually spent an equal amount or more on something else than what the original item plus shipping would have been. I guess to me I feel like I am getting more for my money that way. lol

A magnetic strip won't hurt the knives at all, especially if the magnetic metal part is covered. Just make sure to twist the knife edge away from the strip on its vertical axis to remove. You'll get used to the motion. It was a little strange to me and something I had to think about at first but it became instinctual very quickly. If you twist the back away first, you will roll the edge of the knife against the strip, possibly scratching or marring the strip or damaging the edge a little. If you pull the handle straight out, you risk making a long lever out of the knife and scratching your wall or damaging the tip.

Hmm I've checked out buying a Mag-Blok but was thinking about whether my knives will actually attract strong enough to mount on a magnetic strip.

Will the knives I'm buying mount ok as they are Stainless steel?

Cheers

You should have no issue with the stainless used in knives. The non-magnetic stainless found on high-end appliances is different. Too much nickel if I remember right.
