Hello,

I have a 1 micron HA spray bottle (21 carat concentration) that has been on the back shelf for almost a year. I just tried to use it today - and have discovered that it only sprays a stream, not a mist.

As my others (.5 micron HA & .1 micron CBN) - that I use regularly - spray In a stream, I assume the sprayer on the 1 micron HA is clogged.

Do you think I can clean the sprayer with a type of solvent to "restore" it?

You should be able to fix the nozzle and clean it out so it works again. Remove it from the bottle and stick it in some warm water and then squirt water through it until it cleans out the nozzle. That usually fixes it.

If that doesn't work immerse it in an ultrasonic cleaner. If that doesn't work, use a thin stick pin and ream out the sprayer. If none of these methods work, replace the sprayer with a new one. Try avoiding solvents since this might contaminate the spray if it isn't removed thoroughly.
