Stupid question.
I have added the boron carbide paste on my balsa strop. But is it supposed to dry complete out? My never do.
When I running my finger down the strop, the tip get black which means that it is not dry

I use kens boron carbideon roo. It works great and it does dry out.

Also i would avoid running my finger down a strop. Dont want to contaminate it.
