What kind of marinade or rub did you use? Also, what kind of knives are those? They look authentic.

Plain old "Robertsons" Chicken spice here:

http://www.robertsons.co.za/discover-sp ... ken-spice/

The Gyuto is a laser 240mm Monzaburo White #2 Steel Honyaki.

The petty is a 120mm Ikkanshi Tadatsuna re handled (Wild Olive & African Black wood with ivory spacers).

I am jealous of your knives, they look so elegant. Especially the petty with those ivory spacers. Makes it look like a classic

Which HH do you want Rookie? I'll try and get an eta.

Lamson said they were finishing several things up for me this week. They're driving me crazy with the delays but it means they're busy which is a good think I guess. They need to start a second shift!
