Looking for advice on the best way to go about finding a new handle for my knife and having it installed. I have a masamoto ks gyuto that I got from CKTG and like very much, but I really hate the d shaped handle. Once my new kono arrives I'd like to send out the masamoto to replace the handle with an octagonal koa wood handle, but dont have the faintest idea about where to start looking etc.

We do custom handles. If you're interested take a look at our custom knives section to get an idea of what we do and then email me or pm me and I'll quote you a price. It usually takes 2 weeks from the time I hand it off to my woodworker.
