Thanks Mark,
I am trying the shapton stones because I am not very pleased with the results of the stock stones from Edgepro.
I have reviewed their video a few times and I believe I am using the correct procedure.
In particular my Shun Kershaw Ken Onion 8 inch knife does not do well with them at all.
They do fairly well with my Masamoto high carbon blade.
Is there a set of stones you would recommend over the shaptons?
Thanks

I think the Shapton Glass stones are perfect for the Edge Pro and they're factory cut and dead flat. They're splash and go and cut a wide variety of steels. You'll like them and I wouldn't suggest any others for you. http://www.chefknivestogo.com/shprostforep.html

The Shapton Glass are great stones. Also the stones that Ken cuts are outstanding too. I have Shapton Glass, Shapton Pro, and Nubatama stones for my EP. I think that any of them are superior to the stock EP stones.

I can get knives quite sharp with the stock stones, I have Shapton Pro, Glass and other cool stuff but I am going to make a point here.
For me, I didn't even think about getting different stones for the EP until I was 100% satisfied with my results using the package I got from Ben Dale. Those stock stones do have the ability to make a knife sharper than most people have ever seen. I would concentrate on getting satisfaction from them instead of putting them to the side and getting different ones. I do love my Shaptons and Choseras but I keep thinking of all the knives that Ben Dale has sharpened using those stones, don't give up on them.

I encourage anyone to pick up the wonderful Shaptons, Nubatamas and Choseras that Mark has available and that is just to name a few. I just think that one needs to limit expectations if they are not already getting great results with the stock stones.
