Review:I just got this stone in last night and tried it out a bit today. I tried it on a Tojiro ITK 210mm, Itossai Hidatool 210mm Santoku and a Tanaka Kurouchi Blue #2 Nakiri I got from CKTG. It really refined the edge from the ITK and Santoku very nicely and put a smooth but bitey edge on those blades. On the Tanaka, it was sick. Never had an edge that sharp or aggressive, yet still smooth in the cut! It also worked on my Artifex and Addict2, but those edges weren’t as sharp as the others to begin with. I just got a few minutes to play with it, but in that time, I fell in love with it!!

They last forever so I doubt you'll be back for one unless your dog gets hungry and eats it.

Mark, my review doesn't show up on the webpage?

I also wanted to add that I got to play with it a bit more on several knives today. Tanaka Blue #2 Nakiri, VG-10 6" Chefs knife, Artifex, Kikuichi Elite Carbon 240mm, Tojiro ITK White #2 210mm gyuto and Ittosai Bunka Santoku were the knives I tested it on after I brought them up to a fresh edge. All of the blades took a wicked edge with the stone. I used a very fine diamond plate to get a slurry going and that made a huge difference!! The edges polished up very nicely and the edge was the sharpest I have gotten these blades to date!

We collect them and then dump them all in about once every week or two. I'm guessing yours will show up in the next update.

I'm really glad you're liking the stone. We can't keep them in stock and lots of people seem to enjoy them.

Ah, ok! I did one for the Artifex and this stone and neither showed up. I was worried I did the form wrong or something!

I'm going to update the reviews now. Let me know in about an hour if you don't see it. They should be all on the site.

We got 1 nice Albacore (LongFin) Tuna and one good size Bull Mahi. There was lots of life, some HUGE Mako sharks (10' long) that were sunning themselves on the top of the water or just free jumping. Lots of Mola ie Sunfish and we ran over a sword fish that was sunning itself just beneath the surface of the water on the way back. We didn't reach the warmer water that we were aiming for; it moved on us a bit further South than we got. We stopped running and started trolling around 40 miles shy of our initial stop point because we were seeing life and lots of bait fish balled up, but the tuna wouldn't cooperate.
