Yes it is as comfortable as it look and why does it stand out above the rest is price and quality of craftsmanship, will my 400 haslinger get as sharp yes probably sharper as might my horomoto and hattori basically what I am saying is. You get what you pay for most French sabatier's can be taken up to 6k or so and I have several and I will always love my sabatier's but for the same price you can get a knife built like this handmade in a small factory and beat some of the big names for the money. Besides that I have been on and moderated on several forums and I seem to be the only one who owns one and besides that I am here to teach I put my own edge on it as I do and post every knife I get or sharpen for someone else. I guess besides the reasons listed i just basically love the knife. Just like the person who bought the HHH knife from mark for a grand or more I feel like he is as happy as myself and once again showing the edge and doing the videos bring the excitement to newcomers who are wanting to dip their toes in the Japanese/French knife market which we all agree is the best of the best when it comes to cutlery. I won't post this any more since people are getting tired of it and that's fine by me. I will post another knife when it comes into my hands and also show the edge and a video when I am done with it not to be cocky just to CYA in case the end user says it won't cut and want their money back which I then refer them to the video usually of a tomatoe being sliced, rule of thumb around here most sharpeners agree the tomatoe will never lie. It will redeem the quality of your sharpening or the lack there of if it can't cut the tomato. Peace, jmbullman and I hope that answered your question. Jmbullman
