Up for sale is a gyuto I recently finished.
Handle is sheoak, copper spacer and African blackwood ferrule.
Blade is AEB-L, heat treated to 61 HRC.
The two different pictures use two different filters to try and give some idea of what the sheoak looks like in person. It's a really nice wood.
Edge was ground down to 0.07" before first sharpening.
I left the spine measurements at home, so I'll update with those later today.
Knife is ground very thin, and the blade is somewhat flexible because of this.
Overall the blade is quite light.
Handle is constructed with a mechanical connection between the ferrule and body.
Price is $325.00 shipped within the US. International buyers welcome for additional cost.
