Hi guys! About a month ago I purchased the Edge Pro Apex 4 kit as well as a few accesories from you guys. So far I am loving it. However, the other day I tried putting on the drill stop collar for the first time and it does not want to go on the shaft. I loosened the screw all the way (actually took it completely off) and the collar still seems way too tight. I even tried tapping it down with a hammer and it barely moves! I don't want to risk breaking anything or bending the shaft of my EdgePro. Is it possible you guys sent me the wrong size drill stop collar? It sure seems like it because the video on your website shows it sliding up and down the shaft rather easily while mine can barely squeeze on the shaft, let alone move up or down. Please advise. Thank you!

John

Hi John,

I'm glad you like it!

Take Drill stop collar off.
Loosen screw a lot.
Take flat head screwdriver and insert into gap.
Twist the screwdriver head a little to open it up more and check on post.
If that didn't do it try again with a little more pressure.
That will usually make the collar slide on.

If Marks suggestion doesn't work..roll up some sandpaper and sand a little off..drill bit or round file with the sandpaper on it will work as well.
